Support Groups & Leadership Training
Trauma Support Network Groups are peer lead support groups
by Trauma Survivors for Survivors of long term victimization. Training
for TSN Group Leaders is offered by Family Trauma Survivors' Network,
Inc. The groups offer support, encouragement, and information about
trauma and about community resources. TSN groups are strength based,
members discuss their "challenges" and "wins". The
groups also use the 5 S's of Success, a nationally recognized model,
for work on their issues related to Safety, Serenity, Self, Support,
and (life) Solutions. Many groups offer social times and art activities.
