When you have a large loss from fire, hurricane, burglary, etc - are you going to remember all the items that belong to you? Probably not; and can you prove that they actually belonged to you?
A photo inventory will help you remember what you have in your home, and allow you to substantiate your insurance claim if disaster strikes.

Could you visualize what you have in your dining room, kitchen, or living room if a fire destroyed your home? Even though you're covered by insurance, you stand to lose money unless you can produce an inventory to substantiate your claim.

A photo inventory is the easiest and best way to document your possessions for insurance purposes. The Insurance Information Institute and major insurance companies agree that a good way to help document your possessions is to make a room-by-room photographic inventory and then record the costs of the items and the purchase dates. These pictures can help you get the maximum reimbursement and save you a bundle!

We photograph entire homes (contents included) usually in 1 to 2 hours, and supply high-resolution photos on Two CD-ROMs that can be viewed through any computer. This could save you thousands of dollars. Ask your insurance agent about the benefits.
2 CD-ROMS - A copy for your records, one for your safe storage. While the cost can vary from $75 to over $1000 for a large estate, for most homes, the fee for this service is around $75.00

Make a
checklist of items
to photograph

Before we come, make a list to be sure we photograph everything. This includes all the property you own-house, shed, garage; inside every room, including the Florida room, garage; inside kitchen cupboards, cabinets, and closets. Don't forget electronic items and tools, and close-ups of expensive items that might increase in value, like jewelry, antiques, paintings, and fine china. You may wish to include vital documents as well: birth, marriage, and death certificates, real estate and car titles, and other important papers.

With appliances and electronic products, record the model and serial numbers, date purchased and cost. This, along with the photographic evidence, will help substantiate your claim in case of loss.

Develop a photographic inventory
Room-by-room, we can develop a photographic inventory to document your possessions. We will provide forms where you can record the cost and purchase dates of the items. Pictures give a graphic description surpassing any written description. You are in a better position to help your insurance company determine the current value of lost or damaged items if you have pictures of them.
Save a CD of all this information outside your house, such as at a bank, or a relative's house that isn't near yours. Keep one for your self.
